Lyndhurst Celebrates 'Hometown Holiday In The Park'

LYNDHURST, N.J. -- The Township of Lyndhurst will celebrate a “Hometown Holiday in the Park” on Saturday, Dec. 12.

The 6 - 9 p.m. event will be held in Town Hall Park on Delafield Avenue. The rain date is Dec. 13.

The Mayor and Commissioners are inviting the community to celebrate the holiday season together with free trackless train rides, hair braiding, colored hair extensions, roasted chestnuts, hot cocoa, donuts, hot apple cider, eggnog and coffee.

Events include performances from the Art of Dance, Allegro Arts Academy (dance), and the Lyndhurst School Choir.

There will also be photos with Santa, sponsored by Boiling Springs Savings Bank, and holiday characters will be strolling the grounds to greet visitors.

A variety of other foods will be available for purchase.
